On January 20, an event called “Eternal Memory” dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the events of January 35 took place in Icherisheher. The goal is to commemorate the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and independence of Azerbaijan and to convey their heroic Chronicles to future generations.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan and the commemoration of the martyrs with a minute of silence. The event was attended by families of martyrs, witnesses of the January events of 1990, the management and staff of the Department of the State Historical and architectural Reserve “Icherisheher”, representatives of the Union of photographers of Azerbaijan, residents of Icherisheher.

The film is about how to document the events that took place on the night of January 20 and the following days through the eyes of a professional photographer.
After the demonstration of the interview conducted by Azerbaijan television with the parents of the martyr Larisa Mammadova of January 20, a theatrical composition dedicated to the events of January 20 was presented by the actors of the children's and Youth Theater within the framework of the event.
At the same time, a special exhibition of archival photographs of the January hasidas was opened at the Baku Photography house together with the Union of photographers of Azerbaijan. The exhibition, which runs from January 17, will be open to visitors until January 21, 2025.
